AeroS will participate in the new aviation vertical of the fifth edition of the Barcelona New Economy Week (BNEW) that will be held between October 7 and 10. It will feature the presence of some of its driving partners, the company Gaptek, led by its executive president, Tomás Feliu, in the presentation “Smart Manufacturing: Application of Advanced Technologies in Aerospace Production”, Ignacio Rubio, president of ASETRA, will be present at the opening panel “An Open Window to the Aerospace World”. On the other hand, the Technical Secretary of AeroS (Antoni Paz) will moderate the panel “Innovation and Transformation in Air Traffic Management: Civil and Military Perspectives for Effective Collaboration”.
The Barcelona New Economy Week (BNEW) 2024, an event organised by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), will hold its fifth edition from 7 to 10 October at DFactory Barcelona, the leading international industry 4.0 ecosystem. The event will maintain its hybrid format, with all content broadcast via streaming and the celebration of both digital and in-person networking initiatives connecting the main sectors of the new economy.
The event, which reaffirms its position as a benchmark event for the new economy, is adding the Aviation vertical on this occasion, which will address the latest innovations and sustainable strategies that are shaping the future of air transport. Thus, BNEW 2024 will have three sets and seven key sectors for the new economy: Aviation, Health, Digital Industry, Talent, Sustainability, Mobility and Experience.
This formula allows us to reach professionals from different economic sectors, various industries, small and medium-sized companies, large corporations, administrations and institutions, and startups, who will actively participate in the content program. This makes BNEW a disruptive and innovative event that focuses on the possibilities, new forms, and economic paradigm shifts offered by new technologies.
All of this will happen, once again, in the city of Barcelona, considered one of the most cutting-edge technological hubs in Europe and the reference city of the new economy, which is firmly committed to this new way of doing things and has a broad 4.0 business ecosystem.
In the words of the special delegate of the State in the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), Pere Navarro, “in a context of unprecedented transformation like the one we are experiencing, the DFactory Barcelona will once again become the epicentre of the new economy. The fifth edition of BNEW will provide a unique opportunity to learn from the most influential voices of the most innovative companies and gain a broad view of the trends and challenges that are shaping the global economic landscape.”
Registration open
In its fifth anniversary, BNEW plans to bring together around 350 top-level national and international speakers, giving rise to 140 hours of content distributed across 100 panels, debates and sessions. The event will maintain its hybrid format to facilitate the attendance of people from anywhere in the world, who can register for free.
As in previous editions, the event has a state-of-the-art digital platform from which participants from any country will be able to follow live or delayed the content that will take place on the sets located at the DFactory Barcelona. The only vertical that will only be developed in person will be the BNEW Experience, which seeks to make those attending the event aware of the leisure, cultural and gastronomic offering of the city of Barcelona, in addition to networking.
“Through the digital platform we offer quality networking opportunities for all participants and attendees of the event, as well as a wide range of content related to the key sectors of the new economy. In order to enjoy and take advantage of all these options, interested parties can register from today through the BNEW website,” explains the general director of the CZFB, Blanca Sorigué.
