The European initiative
Clean Aviation, focused on accelerating the green transition in aviation, has officially launched its
third call for proposals, allocating €950 million to support cutting-edge research and innovation in clean aerospace technologies. The goal is to foster
radical breakthroughs that will enable a significant reduction in carbon emissions from air transport.
The call represents a
strategic opportunity for companies, universities, and technology centers across Europe, especially those committed to developing
solutions that contribute to achieving the climate neutrality goals set by the European Union for 2050.
From Catalonia, the Department of Foreign Affairs and the European Union encourages regional entities to actively participate in this initiative, placing Catalan scientific and technological talent at the center of the major sustainability challenges of the future.
