The Spanish Government grants more than 117 million euros to Airbus, as part of the European renewable hydrogen project

The AIRBUS HERMES project, designed to test technological and industrial solutions for the safe introduction of hydrogen in zero-emission aircraft, has received more than €117 million from the Spanish government.

The aeronautical company, partner of AeroS, seeks to deploy and validate new mobility applications in aviation, one of the transport sectors with the highest volume of emissions and more difficult to decarbonize.  
 
This is one of the Spanish projects participating in the European project, financed with European funds Next Generation to promote the renewable hydrogen roadmap and its sectoral integration.
